Come along and support the mighty Brumbies in their Grand Finals this Saturday. Congratulations and good luck to our Grand Final teams. ___________________________________________________________________________ U/9-1's & U/9-3's - Premiers 2010 Congratulations to our Mighty Under 9-1's and Under 9-3's who won their Grand Finals on Saturday to take out the Premiership. Our Under 9-3's were first to play at Hickeys Lane against Minchinbury with the game finishing 14 All at full time and going into golden point extra time. The Brumbies played a great game as a team, and scored the golden point try to take out the Premiership. Congratulations to Coach David Jay and all of the team on a fine effort. Our Under 9-1's played later in the day against Colyton in a hard fought match that ended 6 all at the end of normal time and also went into golden point extra time. The Brumbies were superb in extra time holding out the much bigger Colyton side and scoring a great try to seal the victory and take out the Premiership. Congratulations Julian Isaacs and his team on a fantastic effort. As proud as we are of these two teams, we are equally as proud of the efforts of our mighty Under 11-3's who were beaten in their Grand Final against St Clair. Grant Cunningham's team gave their best shot but were beaten by a very good team on the day. The boys can hold their heads high for the way they represented themselves and the club.
Player of the Week
Congratulations to Corey Schultze from our Under 9-3's for winning this weeks A Step Ahead Podiatry Player of the Week Award. Our Under 9-3's players were awesome in their 18-14 golden point extra time Grand Final win over Minchinbury, but it was Corey who helped lift his team mates to victory. He made several try saving tackles in cover defence and ran strongly when he had the ball in his hands and set up a great try for his team. Thanks to A Step Ahead Podiatry for their support of the mighty Brumbies.
